DIY feather hair accessory

all you will need for this project is:

-an old tshirt--i picked black to blend with my hair a little better but you can really do any color you want!

-scissors

-a small hair clip (any kind will work really)

-super glue

-twine/hemp string

-6-10 feathers of different sizes

cut the tshirt into different lengthed strips about two inches thick. i did 3 strips, short, medium length and long

tie the three strips to the clip with twine. you can also super glue it if you want

wrap twine around tshirt strips. i even tied knots in the tshirt strips first to give it some bulk

glue feathers to the bottom of the tshirt strips. 

wrap around the top of the feather with twine once its connected to the strip.

make sure you let all the glue dry, pin underneath your hair near the roots and there you have it!! a cute, summery feather hair accessory:)

(the beads are a different thing, they're already in my hair)
